Craig contrasts her support of abortion rights with Tyler Kistner’s “100% pro-life” stance
Burnsville, MN – Today, Rep. Angie Craig released her fifth ad of the cycle – “Always” – emphasizing the critical need to protect reproductive rights amid relentless Republican attacks on women’s health care.
“Republicans in Congress announced a national abortion ban that would send doctors and nurses to jail and deny women of their fundamental rights,” said Rep. Craig. “While my opponent may welcome that reality with open arms, and push for even more abortion restrictions, I sure won’t. I will keep pushing to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade and protect reproductive rights.”
Rep. Craig has fought to protect women’s access to reproductive care in the wake of the Supreme Court’s calamitous decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Tyler Kistner recently called the national abortion ban that would criminalize doctors “reasonable” and has signed a pledge to support additional abortion restrictions if he is elected to Congress. He has repeatedly reasserted his belief that politicians should be able to ban abortion, even in the case of rape and incest, as nine states have already done.
