Burnsville, MN –– GOP Congressional candidate Tyler Kistner attempted to cover up ties to a Minnesota State Senate candidate who, in a recently surfaced video, threatened that people may “have to vote with bullets.”

Stephen Lowell made the statement during a July Dakota County Patriots event where MN-02 GOP Congressional candidate Tyler Kistner was listed as a featured attendee.

When Lowell’s comments were made public on Thursday afternoon, the Kistner campaign attempted to cover up another recent joint appearance at the Lakeville Pan-o-Prog Parade earlier this summer.

“Stephen Lowell’s threats are horrifying and un-American. Tyler Kistner must renounce Lowell’s dangerous rhetoric and reject his endorsement immediately,” said Rep. Angie Craig. “I was in the Capitol on January 6th, I know firsthand the impact of statements like these and I will not remain silent in the face of violent threats against our democracy.”
