September 21, 2022

Contrast between candidates becomes increasingly stark

Burnsville, MN — Today, in response to the Star Tribune’s request for a summary of each candidate’s position on abortion in their annual voter guide, Tyler Kistner again tried to hide his extreme anti-choice position.

“Abortion is an incredibly complex issue that can not be summarized in 20 words,” Kistner responded.

In 19 words, Rep. Angie Craig responded, “We must restore Roe v. Wade. Every woman should have the constitutional right to make her own health care decisions.”

Here’s a timeline of Kistner’s statements on abortion:

  • June 23, 2022: “I think that decision should be left at the states to decide.”
