Rep. Craig Pushes for Domestic Manufacturing and Technical Training in New Ad

September 13, 2022

Craig points out the critical role that Minnesota’s manufacturing workers, like her son Josh, play in strengthening America’s economy

Burnsville, MN – Today, Rep. Angie Craig released her third ad of the 2022 cycle, emphasizing her efforts to boost American manufacturing, invest in job training and technical education and promote careers in the trades.

“We know investing in Minnesota’s workforce is key to combating inflation and fixing the supply chain. That’s why I’ve pushed so hard to get tough on China, bring more manufacturing jobs back home and connect Minnesotans with good-paying careers in their own communities,” said Rep. Craig. “Bringing down costs for working families starts right here in Minnesota.”

Rep. Craig has fought to invest in American manufacturing and American manufacturers since she was first elected in 2018. Earlier this summer, she helped pass the bipartisan CHIPS Act, historic legislation that will help create more good-paying jobs in manufacturing, strengthen supply chains and invest in American-made technology. Additionally, she introduced the 21st Century Workforce Partnerships Act to help provide students with the training and skills necessary for success in a 21st-century career.
