Surprise, Surprise: GOP Candidate Who Argued Against Women’s Suffrage is a Kistner Donor

Kistner, who brands himself as a moderate in public, is indistinguishable from extreme GOP candidates in private
CNN last month: “GOP congressional candidate said US suffered from women’s suffrage and praised organization trying to repeal 19th Amendment
Burnsville, MN – Adding to a long list of shady and extremist donors, Tyler Kistner recently accepted $2,900 from the leadership PAC of GOP congressional candidate John Gibbs, who has made national headlines for opposing women’s suffrage.
Gibbs argued that America has “suffered” since women were granted the right to vote and praised an organization trying to repeal the 19th Amendment.
“Tyler Kistner’s record on women’s issues is, at best, concerning and at worst, downright dangerous. Kistner has proven time and time again that Minnesotans cannot trust that he has their best interests at heart – he’ll just agree with whoever he needs to in order to get elected,” said Angie Craig for Congress campaign manager Wellesley Daniels.
Despite his attempts to distance himself from his extreme “pro-life, pro-gun, pro-Trump” views, Tyler Kistner’s stances on the issues and willingness to deceive voters often align him with the far right wing of his party.
- Kistner scrubbed his website of his “100% pro-life” views, similar to Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters and Minnesota gubenatorial candidate Scott Jensen.
- Kistner has refused to state outright that Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election, leaning on similar talking points to election-denier Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
- Kistner was caught funneling money to himself through campaign mileage reimbursements like Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert.
